I used a Honeycomb that I found on Amazon and used Z channel to hold it in top and bottom. I can slide it up and remove it so that I can power wash once it gets filled with bugs. There are threads on here regarding this. It just protects the radiator.

search for 'nomex honeycomb radiator ' on Amazon, plenty of other posts mentioning it.

He asked about a "grill", not a radiator protector.
Sorry I can't help, but you should be able to Google search and find past threads.

I used this material from Custom Car Grills in black:
https://www.customcargrills.com/proddetail.asp?prod=Perf_GT
You can see how it looks via the link below:

I have some mounting screws on the under side of the grill and oil cooler openings that hold it in place.
Good Luck!
I ordered the grill set from Breeze.

I safety-wired them to the car using posts from McMaster Carr epoxied to the body.

I ended up making mine out of 16 gauge perforated steel with 1/8" holes and painted it a gunmetal gray. You can somewhat see through it, but it obscures most of the radiator visually. I like the effect. It's also doing a great job of protecting the surface of the radiator. If you'd like to see how I did it, here's a link to my video on it. Just fast forward to the 23 minute mark (or thereabouts).

I bought some mesh aluminum that looks just like the Breeze grille. It comes on a roll, and can be purchased at larger building supply stores.
Traced out the shape of the body opening with a sharpie on to a section of it I than formed a lip all around the edges of it to fit behind the roll on the body. Used stainless button head screws, nylock nuts, and some tabs I cut out of thin stainless sheet metal, was used to fasten it.
You could paint it if you want.
I drove the roadster with this in place for about five years, but when I removed it for the paint and body work, and I never reinstalled it. Plan on getting the honeycomb protector.

You can buy expanded metal, steel and aluminum, from Online Metals. Just look for a product that matches the material you already have and then buy a sheet large enough for the job.

No Rich, what the OP’er actually said/asked was, “ I would like to put a grill in the front to hide the radiator. What have others done?” He actually asked what others had done (to hide the radiator). I told him what I had done (to hide & protect the radiator) Simple! What he didn’t ask was if you can’t help, tell me you can’t help just so I know that you are not available to help.

It looks like the honeycomb qualifies!…assuming he wasn’t talking about BBQ.

In addition to the grille, here is an idea on making screens for oil cooler and brake cooling openings.
