I'm confused about brakes for my roadster. I'm going with stock Mustang GT brakes for now, and I might upgrade later. The complete kit comes with stock front rotors and calipers. The rotors are 11.65" diameter. I assume these are S550 Mustang GT rotors and calipers. To complete my brake setup (I ordered IRS with my kit), I purchased stock 2018+ Mustang GT rear calipers and rotors. The rotors are ~13" diameter. Seems weird to me that the rears are larger than the front, although the contact surface is smaller. Am I maybe misinformed on the fronts, and the zero-charge front calipers and rotors that come with the complete kit are actually Fox Mustang fronts?
Thanks,
Greg

The complete kit front brakes are PBR twin piston calipers as used on 1998-2004 Mustangs.

Ah, that's right! Thanks, Jeff. Brain cramp on my part. Looks like it's time to order some brakes. Much appreciated. Have a great holiday weekend!

So, dumb question, but if I order Wilwood jewelry from FFR, all I need to specify is rear 2018+ IRS and complete kit front spindles?

Don't order brakes. FFRs are usually lacking in rear brake power. Over the years I went through a lot of rear brake systems trying to get more rear brake. The final solution happened when I did a 2015 IRS retrofit. I used the same rears you have and stock Fox fronts. It may look a little weird but that was the final and complete fix to balance brake power front to rear.
