Hello all,

My first post here since picking my kit up a couple months ago. I'm having a bit of trouble with the front hub nuts...hubs slid on the spindles fine, but the hub nuts only screw on about a half a turn. I tried using a wrench, but it looks like the nut is eating the threads up on the spindle if I use too much force. Is it possible FFR sent the wrong nuts??? I'm afraid using more force to get them on would do major damage to the threads on the spindle...

Thanks,
Duke

You should be able to spin them on most
Of the way before the locking mechanism comes into play. For reference the nuts for any 1995-2004 mustang should work

There seems to be an issue with the FFR supplied hub nuts. This is the third thread that I can recall with the same issue. As Mike suggested go get some from your local part supplier. For your info, they are $4.25 each from Rockauto.

Yup…FFR definitely supplied the wrong nuts. Went and got some from AutoZone, and they spin on just fine.

Thanks for the help!
