Thought I would start a new thread to expand on something I mentioned in build question thread. I have accumulated several charts over the years that have been very helpful. Scroll down in the link to McMaster for some they have.

The Decimal Equivalents chart has been invaluable. It converts fractional, metric etc to .001 inches. I use frequently. For instance, 5/8" is only .0049" under 16mm so in many cases they are interchangeable.
This is a metric TQ chart I have saved

This is a pretty good fractional bolt TQ chart

This one has info on thread dimensions and tap drill sizing

Since I don't do that very often I also saved this diagram

If any of you have other useful reference charts please post them.

I grew up in the imperial system but for the past 25 years I've worked for an international company which of course is all metric. One of the really neat things about metric bolts is the tap drill size is the bolt size (OD) minus the pitch. So an M6x1.0 would be a 5mm tap drill. Easy peasy.

Here (https://thefactoryfiveforum.com/showthread.php?42292-Why-the-Torque-Wrench-is-Your-Best-Friend) is some god information on bolts and torque.

Very helpful to have all this in one reference spot!
