Is there a better antenna available for the gps speedometer? I've built two of these now and both cars have the same issues. Going down the road in a straight line and the signal is lost for several miles in the speedometer unit. I've tried moving the antenna without any success in fixing the problem. I'm thinking there has got to be a better antenna out there?

I've not noticed any issues? Where do you live? could it possibly be a dead spot in coverage where you are?

Where is the antenna mounted?
Unless you are getting blockage from buildings or dense forest, you should always get the minimum of four satellites coming in. Signals will go through fiberglass, but not through metal, so be sure the antenna isn't covered or shielded by any metal and is on a horizontal plane, not vertical. Finally, be sure the connector is tight at the gauge.
