My rear lower control arm is "off" about 1/8 inch on the driver and passenger side. If I fit one side in the forward mount, it is off about 1/8 inch in the rear (and vice versa). I am building an IRS and it will have the sway bar. Any thoughts or ideas? Is it time to dust off the big hammer or pry bar?

My early 2016 build was the same. I just rebent the rearmost tab added shim on the other side and moved on.

Mine was similar. A piece of all thread, washers, and nuts to spread the tabs out worked for me.

Same here, I did a bit different and took 1/16 inch out of the bushing in front-Front side and Bushing in the rear-Rear side and added large washers. I did spread the tab a a bit as well. Info in my thread.

Just did mine yesterday, swing away until it just clears then tighten up.

Tricky one was the toe adjuster. Ended up using a piece of 1/2” allthread, 2 washers and 2 nuts to ‘crank’ the fork apart so it would fit.

What I did on mine was measured and found that the front tabs were, as best as I could tell, equal in their front to rear position relative to the rest of the frame. So I locked down the fronts as is and bent the rears to fit.

I just did mine as well, and had obsessed over the suspension arm tabs not being as precise as I imagined they "ought to be"

I did as the other builders: determined that the front ones were not going to move as much since that area is chock full of frame/tabs/etc; then assessed that the lower A-arms would have a little "give" to them anyway; then used all-thread to slightly spread apart the rear tabs. I torqued the bolts down to spec and did not see any appreciable distortion of the tabs, and the arms move just fine.

I just installed the rear LCA's last night and there is no need to spread apart the tabs on the frame.

1. Line up and tap the lca mounts (the one towards the front of the car) so that it fits in snug.
2. Install the rear lca mounts from underneath (start closest to the center where the factory five logo is). The rearmost LCA mount will slip in (albeit very tight, but there is space when you start it from behind the tabs). Then use a mallet to bang it home
3. While adjusting the rear lca mounts, keep an eye on the front lca mount as it might move out of place when you are adjust the rear.

This worked well for me and i did not have to bend any part of the mounts/frame.
