Hi

Im looking at a AC Cobra for sale in Sweden but the seller dont know what kit the car are built on.
Its sold from a estate and the info about the car are slim as the builder has died. One said it has some signs to be a FFR kit and maby someone here can verify or not.
Know it has mosy likley part from a Mustang with 351W engine.

Can anyone see what kit this car are built from and maby the engine parts?

Back in the day there where 1 or 2 that did that. you might be able to find the build link on FFcars or clubcobra
If you can get the chassis number might be under the steering wheel on the frame. there could be a build page or some information on the sites.

Agree it's Factory Five and a Mk3 or earlier. The square X-tube on the front chassis plus the external body attachments are clues. Very possibly a donor build since that's a Mustang radiator. Plus can just see a hydroboost power brake booster. Most like that means a Mustang pedal box. I think I see a power steering pump but not sure. Can't tell you much about the engine, e.g. whether a 302 or the taller deck 351. What I did notice is no harnesses. At least not visible and no evidence of them coming through the back wall. One slot versus two for the harnesses is one of the clues for a Mk3 or earlier. But nothing. Something that certainly should be addressed.

OK. Now seeing seatbelts. Builder installed regular 3-point belts vs. the normal kit supplied harness. Better than nothing. But a harness would be better and typical with these cars.
