Anyone know if these BDR windshields/frame align with the FFR MKIV body holes/chassis? These frames don't have the odd fitting on the sides like the FFR version and come in Gloss Black already. Link below:

Seems like for $1,599.99 you could do a lot of gloss black powder coating to a FFR frame! What is this "odd fitting" that you speak of?

I had the last windshield frame powder coated. Looked great in the end, but it was kind of PITA to get it all back together. I had to get the Whitby's stainless brackets as the brass ones stripped out. Also, where the side posts curve at the top, they didn't sit completely flush as the curved ridge doesn't mount or connect to anything on the frame and require a little tweaking, but still never sat quite right. I've seen a lot of posts on the forum describing the same thing.

Agree the BDR frames are expensive, but the new versions come PC'd and the sides posts curve into the frame as one piece. I don't think that BDR pic shows their new version. Looks like the FFR one. If anything, FFR should offer a blacked out option like they do with the frame and roll bars.
