The buckles on the shoulder harness is uncomfortable and sometimes gets tossed onto the body when the harness is being removed. Does someone make a sleeve or something to cover the metal adjuster part?

AutoSport makes sheepskin covers (available in eight colors) to provide shoulder chafing protection from seat belts. Visit them at www.autosportcatalog.com and you may find what you are looking for. Alternately, considering we are dealing here with custom built cars, you might get leather pieces dyed in whatever color you choose, and hand-stitch your own. Done neatly, the hand stitching is part of the item's design. Good luck.
I went to a local sporting goods store and bought a few sets of those sweat bands that you wear around your wrist. They fit over the metal buckles and are cheap enough to replace after they get faded by the sun.
