I was charging my AC today and noticed some fluid coming out from the DS tie rod boot. It was kind of pouring out! I did notice my dust boot clips weren't on, but I'm assuming there is no way the boot should stop this volume of PS fluid. This didn't happen when I did my first start and go cart. I'm guesing the internal seals are blown? Someone please confirm. This is a FF unit I ordered with the kit. What are the chances FF send me a replacement PS rack?

Fluid was coming out of end of boot.

Here's video while it was leaking!

Same thing happened to me with my FFR power steering rack. I had done some short go cart runs with no problems, then leaking power steering fluid from one of the boots. Clearly a blown seal. I sent an email to FFR and 5 days later I had a new rack. FFR was great about the warranty as my rack was a year old (not winning any races with my build pace). There is some history of FFR having issues with their power steering racks. I figured I would replace this one with another FFR rack, but if it fails again, there are better options out there.

Yes, that is an inner rack seal leaking.

Thanks guys.. I will see if FF will send me a replacement.. Hopefully they aren't on backorder anymore! Are the seal user replaceable?

They are but getting the correct part may be a challenge and not many do that anymore. I used to in the '80s but then we just put in a new or remanufactured unit.

This is a good time to start getting tools that will allow you to do alignments. You will only need to worry about toein. These are the least expensive good quality tools you need for toe.
