I have a Mark I and want to replace the upper ball joints but I do not have the info on the ball joint to know what to order (the guy I bought it from did not have the build sheet and the manual does not specify). Are they the same as the current ball joints supplied with Roadsters and/or Daytona's? Mevotech? If so, what model are they and is that a solid brand or should I go with another brand? I may take it to the track in the future to learn the limits of the car and myself. ;)

SPC part is 94002 which is just a Chrysler screw in joint. Moog is part #K772. This is if you're using the SPC threaded ball joint UCA assy, or the old stock F5 made one piece UCA sold with the MKI's.

Thank you @weendoggy for the quick response! I do have the F5 one piece UCA's. The kit only has 3800 miles on it (3300 of them from me in the last 2 years) so I'm thinking I want to put a higher quality set in like the SPC's. Especially if I decide to track it in the future.

It will not make any noticeable difference

As you look at different options that 772 number will often pop up. It may not be official but it is almost an industry standard. You may also want to look into swapping to the current style UCAs. When you start doing alignments you will realize that sliding that control in slotted frame holes is a real pain in the neck.

That's a good suggestion Craig. If all goes as planned :), I will be pulling the body off this winter to go through the chassis and and freshen up any worn areas and parts. That would be a good opportunity to look at updating the UCA's. Thank you for the feedback.
