Hello all, i am looking at starting a 33 SpeedStar build. Wanted to understand the differences between SpeedStar and 33. Does the price increase between the two justify the Star build?

I have a Speedstar kit here that I picked up end-March of this year and have seen the 33 hot rod up close in person on several occasions so I can probably speak to any questions you have about the difference between the two body styles.
IMO the key differences:
- chopped roof
- roof and body come as one piece
- hood top and sides extend all the way back to the windshield base

The 33 doesn't come with a hood or side panels, the Speedstar does. If you want them on the 33 it is an extra $1450. As Earl stated the Speedstar has the roof as part of the body. To get the removable top for the 33 it will cost you an extra $2350.
So, a 33 with hood, side panels and hard top is more than a Speedstar.
But, I wouldn't look at the price differences and get the kit configured the way you want it.
