Hello. Reading through the form is it correct to deduct that a Forte Effort Reducer and an OEM Ford clutch cable will provide smooth and easy clutch pedal travel? Second, anything special considerations?
I have an issue with my left knee, so I don't want to use a lot of force to push the clutch pedal.
Thank you!
I have a Ford cable and recently took out my Forte effort reducer. The effort reducer made a little difference but I probably won't bother putting it back in. My clutch is very smooth. I live in Plymouth and your more than welcome to push on my clutch pedal. I am using a Foxbody pedal box so not sure if that makes any difference vs a Wilwood pedal box.

I have the exact same setup and its smooth and effortless enough. But it doesn't compare to my C5 Corvette hyd clutch. I don't think you'll ever get a cable to be as effortless.

Have hydraulic clutches in everything but the Cobra which has the FORD/Forte package. Clutch is a Center Force 11" Dual friction rated @ 687 ft/lbs of torque. Pedal effort is not excessive or uncomfortable on an 81.5 year old knee.
