Started prepping for the radiator installation and came up with a couple issues.
#1 was offset, but in searching, I found that was for the donor rad, so problem solved.:D
#2 Actual mounting location. When I fit the radiator in position, the outer sides ride hard on the slanted frame, not allowing it to set tight against the two attach tubes. Would it make a big difference if I mounted it behind those tubes?
Thanks,
Steve
I recommend looking at the Breeze upper and lower radiator mount kits and either buy or make your own. I damaged one radiator that I mounted per the manual and it developed a leak at the upper left mount after a year of driving on our horrible Colorado roads.

+1 on the Breeze products for the rad.
do you have pics? the radiator shouldn't be touching the R and L angled tubes from my memory.

That's what I was thinking. I'll have to look into the Breeze mounts.

+2 on the Breeze mounts. Easy installation and gives plenty of flexibility.
You’ll find Mark very helpful and knowledgeable. All of his products come with excellent detailed instructions.

I just changed my lower mounts from zip ties to SS clamps. Am using Breeze H/W. In eastmont area, you're welcome to stop by if so inclined. Andy

BREEZE! Also strongly suggest you come up with some type of rock guard over the radiator.

This is what a lot of guys use, including me.
