Hi Everyone
I have the FFMetal firewall forward. It is a solid piece. I want to mockup the wiper motor along with a few items.
Does anyone have pictures of their forward firewall with a wiper motor? or a link to their build page so I take a peak?
That will help and appreciated.
Thx. Tom

I have both but haven't gotten close enough to put the wiper motor on. GTBradley did and has a very similar setup to what I will be doing.

Firewall forward, wiper motor, and heater. Tuck the wiper motor as far under the 3/4" tube that runs along the hood opening as you can. Use riv-nuts on the firewall for the mounting; otherwise, removing / replacing the wiper motor will be a two-person job.
Also, if you're installing a heater into the firewall forward, the template that comes with the heater is not correct. The placement should be flush with the bend at the bottom of the FWF (double check this, as I'm going from memory of about five years ago). Also, double check that the holes for the feed & return on the template match your heater; the holes on my template were ~1/2" off in spacing.

Flyboy, i'll look at GTBradleys build page for pictures of his firewall.
John. Thx for the picture. It is helpful along with your notes. No heater required in Florida.

I disagree. We have been up and out early for shows and other events most notably the rally at Sebring in February. Left the house at 7 am and the temp was in the high 40s. Heater was very nice for the first hour or so. Yes you can use warm clothes or other methods but when the wife says she doesn't want to be cold, the heater is a must. She wants one on her roadster currently in progress so installing one there too.

it fits, without a heater it would be a no brainer - this is next to my A/C unit - tucked as far over as possible with the Firewall Foreword

Hi FLPBFoot. Will not be a problem for me. The odds of my wife being in on a 40deg day is about the same of winning the lottery tomorrow. I am going to rough in the wiring for seat warmer and I can retrofit. I am bear like and good to go.
