Has anyone fabricated a bracket like the ones used on the originals? How well did it support the windshield? Did it reduce vibration? If you had a mirror mounted to the top of the windshield, did it help with vibration?

Mirror mounted on top. No bracket no vibration issue. I don’t think the bracket would do much.
