I have not posted my progress since receiving my kit in October 2022, but I wanted to show you the first start of my Gen 3 Coyote as a way to say thank you to everyone on here that answered my questions and helped me get to this point of the build. It took some time for the fuel to get to the engine but once it did, it started right up. Thanks again.

Great progress. I would be interested in how it starts, now after the fuel finally got to the engine.
Sounds like a good battery too.

I started it again today. It took less than 5 seconds for it to start. The odd thing is that yesterday I had a reading of 65psi on my fuel pressure gauge but today it was stuck at 40psi and did not respond to me trying to adjust it. I am thinking low fuel level in the tank since I only put in about 1.5 gal. It seemed to run fine even with the regulator gauge at 40psi so maybe my gauge is bad?

Low fuel was your problem i bet. it's good practice to treat 1/4 tank as empty with a fuel hungry motor like this one. Is the with cats or no cats? I see FFR offers a catted version of their headers. where the hell do the cats do? inside the side pipes?

I think you are lucky it started at all with 1.5 gallons.

Congrats on the first start! I am a long way behind you (took delivery last week), but I am also doing a Gen3 build, and can't wait to be where you are. Enjoy!

More fuel did the trick. Thanks Mike. The second, third and fourth starts were much more fun. It roars to life almost immediately.

More fuel did the trick. No Cats, I live in rural Ohio. Mufflers even seem to be optional in many of the high performance/muscle cars around here.
