Possibly gen 1 hood hinge mounting holes. My Gen 2 brackets are different. 33 or deluxe grill set up?

Can I ask a side question? I am setting the body on my 33 HR now, and when the cowl is resting on the firewall, the bottom of the body (down by the firewall) does not wrap completely under the 1.5" horizontal frame tube. It is about 3/8" above the bottom of that tube. With the body not dropping down and tucking under the frame, it is kicking the side of the body away from the lower sides of the firewall. Tech has not replied yet, but if your body is on the frame, does the bottom lip of the body sides actually tuck under the frame, or does it stay outside the frame? The photos attached are hard to view, but I bet you know where I am speaking of. If the fiberglass does not tuck under the frame, I would likely need to trim some of the lip away so it moves closer to the center of the car, allowing the gap at the bottom of the body-to-firewall to tighten up a bit. Thanks!

Headlight mounts. Gen 1 hood hinge was a separate piece attached to the radiator/grill assembly

The body only goes down level with the bottom of the frame. I had to trim the lip at the bottom and the slot that goes around the tube you're talking about where the foot boxes and firewall meet to get the side body lip to tuck under the side of the footboxes. Check out some posts in the body section within the last 2 months or my build thread, last 2 or 3 pages.

I've attached a pic. Red circle highlights gen 1 hood hinge mounting hole
Yellow circle is what you're questioning, EDIT:looking at my build, it seems to remain unused. The hole below that, is what I used for the headlight mount....

That headlight mounting hole won’t work if you have the full fenders, the hole is too low.

I stand corrected and edited my original post - Looking at my build last night, you're right. The upper hole remains unused (who know what the heck it was for) and I used the lower one for the headlights. I remember debating with my self which to use for the headlight and the upper one wouldn't look right, too high.
