I hate posting this because I know I've seen the answer before... and of course I didn't bookmark it.

Can someone tell me where to place the adjustment collar of the rear IRS coil-over? Just looking for a rough/initial position on the shock body, obviously nothing final. Thanks.

Most just make it snug to the spring. From there, you'll need to adjust for ride height.

That's my plan but was hoping to get closer to where it will end up. Not a big deal. Maybe the adjustment is minimal from snug.

I'm pretty sure I made mine snug but then tightened them about 2 or three turns to raise the chassis up. I'm riding at 4 1/4" rear and 3 1/2" front.

Mine shows 25 threads from the bottom of the shock to the bottom of the spanner nut.

25 threads give me 4.5 inches from ground to bottom of frame.
