I have a new MK4 kit. The front turn signals have a bezel on them that when the light is mounted flush against the body does not come up flush with the body surface. These bezels seem to have a friction fit, what keeps them from vibrating of over time. I have tried pressing them further back to make them flush but they just move back to their original position.
Any thoughts.

Its pretty common to fit an O ring into the gap.

Right or wrong, I ended up drilling and taping a small set screw on the bottom side of the bezel as I could not get mine to engage properly, or at least well enough where I didn't fear them ending up in the car behind me.

I got tired of messing with them so I just eliminated them.
