Guys, I have a MARK IV with a 427 High Port TFS head. Obviously the 351W headers won't work and I will be having the headers built. My question since the body can't be on the car, can someone be nice enough to give me a few measurements? I was needing from the main frame tube to the inside of the side pipe in 2 places along the large pipe of the side exhaust. Second, from the main frame tube to the end of the metal bracket that has the standoff. My thinking is that I get the side pipe level and in place and then build the header out to the side pipe socket. if you have a different way of doing it, I am all ears. (I am selling my coated headers and the side exhaust (bare metal).
if you have suggestions for a set of stainless side pipes, I would appreciate it. I hope that the new pipes will fit in the same location! :)
#2 where do I go to get my passenger side roll bar replaced. the hoop where the down leg attaches is off and I can't get the full tube to insert. The chrome is pitted as well.
Has anyone had any dealings with Factory 5 on warranty items?
BTW, I am running the Tremec TKX. Has anyone had any experience with installing one. the rear of my transmission is sitting off of the mounting plate. It looks like I will have to mount the transmission mounting bracket from the bottom or notch the plate.
Sorry for such a long note.
