As part of my hard top project, I値l be taking a shot at building a set of side curtains. I知 hoping that those of you with them can post up some detailed photos of yours, and shots of how they mate up to the windscreen to help me out.

Thanks

Are you looking for the ones mounted to the hard top or the old style FFR soft top door mounted ones? The door mounted ones have no seal at the windscreen but they fit inside the "A" pillar and keep most of the rain out.

I知 looking at the door mount, the top I have has a mounded in drip edge that I think would make the top hinged ones unworkable. I知 trying to work out in my head how to mate the window up with the flange and the windscreen.

Dave Borden has a great set of windows on the side of his hardtop, when you open the door the windows open up at an angle, there's a nifty hinge setup, I think showcased in the link @Papa sent

edit: just realized - different hardtop

I have removable hard side-curtains (windows) on my Mk1. The roof and windows were from a Streetbeast that I adapted to my FFR. The design was a replica of the original ragtop (AC).

The side curtains attach using pins in the door. They swing in behind the windshield pillar as the door closes with some overlap. I would say the whole thing is water resisting, definitely not waterproof.

The windows are plexiglass with the rear half sliding forward.
