Ford Efi ignition coil

I have a stock efi ignition coil. It was mounted right below the hood. Noticed the hood strut was touching it. I am looking to relocate the new coil to the f panel drivers side. Any issue with mounting it there and not on the frame?

From my perspective I don't think so - mine has been on the F panel 13 years.
