I had never heard of McMaster until on the forum and it is awesome. Recently had an order SNAFU...they responded within hours of my email (in what I think were not normal work hours) an corrected the issue with priority shipping. Great service makes loyal customers.

I've had a business account with McMaster for decades. In my R&D work they are invaluable for quick delivery on everything from bolts & nuts to linear bearings. They always have it in stock.

Here's something interesting for you. Just because what you are looking for isn't in their catalog doesn't mean they can't source it for you. Just send them an email and ask. Rarely have they not come through for me.

McMaster truly keeps industry in America running. If you ever want to shut down America just take out McMaster Carr.

I Love that place, not always the cheapest but I used them at work and home. Often get the part before my CC is billed, great selection and my order Friday was shipped on Saturday for some Rivnuts...And a better 1 click order and done, better than Amazon.

They're great. I can't think of anything they do poorly. Their catalog is the best in the industry, their website works really well, easy access to 3D models and drawings, fast shipping, etc. it's hard to go wrong. For me most things ship from their Chicago location and are delivered next day using boring old standard UPS ground.
