MKIII Drop Butt Mod?

I have seen a few drop butt mods on mk3's & they look good. Does anyone have any plans, procedures, or blog site locations on the process? Thanks!

I did mine very similar to Howards and used his guide as my starting point.

One difference is I ended up not cutting and rewelding the section in the corner. With the body on and aluminum out, I looked to see where the body was hitting and it looked like I only needed to take out a small amount of the corner. I ended up 'sectioning' the 3/4 tube in that area with a cut off wheel which gave me enough drop. I filled in the 3/4 tube with JB weld putty to add some rigidity back.

Also, on the support hoop, instead of welding it back into place like Howard did, I welded ends onto the hoop and then bolted the hoop back into the frame. This way I was able to put the body on and get it where I wanted it, and then put the hoop in place with a bit of adjustability in it.
