Good Day everyone.

I am having difficulty with the routing of my e-brake cables on a 2015 11.65 IRS brake package. If I go under the 4" round cross member the brakes are way to tight and a complete PITA to attach, and when they are attached the tension is immense. If I go over the cross member then there is too much slack. Could someone please chime in and let me know how they ran their e-brake cables.

Thank you
Honest Ernie

I think FFR was shipping some extenders that fixed this problem. They were 2 small stainless plates with holes on each end. Maybe an inch long. They went between the handle and the first threaded eyelet.

Great to know. I was just experiencing this same issue.

You can make your own extenders with the cross pice from a u-bolt (available in the hardware section of your favorite hardware or home improvement store). After you figure out you need a third hole, drill it off-center so that as the cable stretches you can flip it around to take up the slack.
