Looking for some input - experience to get me back on track. I've pretty much completed the mechanical on my 2022 SBF Roadster. I've been busy trimming and straightening on the body and ready to put the body back on and lock it down before messing with fitting the side pipes, per Mr. Kleiners advise (thanks Jeff) but noticed I can't balance the height of the headers from ground to the bottom of the header, the PS is higher than the DS by about 1" and I have no room left to increase the height on the DS the dowel in the mount is as high as the slot will let it go, the PS has room in the dowel slot to move down but the engine won't lower on that side probably because the motor mounts won't let it down any further. So, the question here is "do I lock it down and use the ball flange for the the final height adjustment? this will probably mean wedges to correct the exit from the body, or is the balance of the engine - headers adjustable in another way?
Any help here is greatly appreciated.

Sounds like you haven’t put the pipes on. Rather than worrying about how the headers measure install the sidepipes and adjust accordingly. You may find that wedges are still needed, even with the ball flange. Be aware that you need to have the body in it’s final position (which includes positioning it in relation to the doors) before you can determine where the pipes will ultimately be.

Is the motor level from side to side??
You may need to shim one of the motor mounts to get the headers to the same height.
It will not be a very thick shim.

The ball flange headers are great for adjusting the side pipes up/down in the body cutouts. If the pipes need to be adjusted forward/backward in the cutout, you can also do that with the ball flanges but this is where you might need wedges to get the side pipes parallel with the body of the car.

Thanks for the insights guys!! The headers & ball flanges are on, I was doing a prelim height measure to see how balance they were from side to side before putting the body on. I remember you mentioning not to get too exited about alignment till the body was locked down Jeff so this was just a question on how serious I should take the header height difference. Herb427 - the i put a level on the top of the air cleaner and the PS is still slightly higher, I was thinking about a shim but figured I'd ask the question on the forum and see how others have dealt with it. JohnK- I kinda figured wedges would be required to get things straightened out and aligned properly - Like Jeff mentioned - lock down the body first - then see where I'm at.. I'm probably thinking too far ahead.
Thanks again for the comments!!!!
