I'm looking for some advice on getting the body nose positioned correctly. .
I am fitting the body for the first time trying to position the front. I have the front of the body centered left to right by measuring from the body wheel well lip to the coil over mount. I am running into an issue with the left side 3/4 inch tube as it transitions into the nose of the body. The left side seems to be positioned too far to the outside of the car and too low. The first picture shows what I mean. The frame mounting point is touching the body at the bottom and at the brake air inlet edge. The second picture shows how far to the left the mounting point needs to move to allow the body mounting bracket to attach. The nose of the body also needs to move up to allow the Quick Jack bolts to align with the holes in the body. I can't move the body up because it is touching the 3/4 inch tube mounting point.
I attached the third picture to show that the right side does not have this issue. While not in the picture, the body mounting bracket aligns without issue in about the middle of its adjustment range. It seems only the left side has an issue.

I have checked the position of the body front to back. The position seems right with the right amount of clearance between the door edge opening and the striker plate. The rear quick jack spacers would need to be shortened if the body was moved forward any more.
Is there something I am overlooking? While I think I can bend the 3/4 inch tubes and get a much better alignment, is that the right thing to do? Is there anything else I should try first?
Thx, Jim
