Today was exciting. The cobra arrived , earlier than expected. Eric from Stewart transport was amazing. Great guy. You can't go wrong with Stewart. Got everything unloaded into the garage. The body is on the buck and frame on the lift. The inventory is going great so far, completed 32 of 45 pages so far. Missing items are very minimal also , maybe 3 or 4 items . My POL list is also very short. I am on sensory overload after this first day , excitement of what has happened the first day, running a list in my head also at the same time thinking about next steps before I finish what I am doing, and also thinking of items that I still need to get. I really am enjoying the inventory.
I have a couple questions about some of the items and was wondering should I post them here or on my build thread, I am not sure if my build thread (still need to start that) would get enough exposure for questions. I will start posting some questions tomorrow, as I expect to finish inventory tomorrow.
I look forward to sharing my experience and getting advice as needed. I have read lots of stuff here ,just hope I can easily access things that were really good bits of information.

Very nice, I am in the 5 day countdown now and looking forward to the start. My last call with Stewart said delivery window will possibly be during the 4 hour window that I actually have something going on over a 3 day period. Hope I can time shift that a few hours...
Boy, do I know that feeling of excitement when the Stewart driver calls and says he was on the highway exit, two miles from my house. This was on May 29 (Memorial day) and I was standing on the corner of our neighborhood waiting for the truck to appear over the hill. Short of my wedding day and the birth of my two sons, this was the most excitement I have felt since I was a kid.

I was excited for my arrival, but nothing compared to the morning of my delivery. My delivery window was between 2:00 and 4:00 and they showed up at 3:45, and was well worth the wait. Inventory was actually fun (two evenings) but assembly is better. Have several people helping if possible. Someone to take photos, someone to check off each box number as it comes off the truck, and 2-3 people to carry boxes. I had four plus the driver and his wife. Completely done in 45 minutes, then we treated everyone to burgers, brats, and chicken on the grill. The drivers really appreciated the food. Enjoy your delivery day because it goes fast.

That is an exciting day!!! The excitement is tangible.
You mentioned that you were wondering if you ask questions in your build thread or in a separate thread. There isn't a right answer. I typically asked in my build thread and usually got responses but not always. You can always do both as well. Asking a specific question in its own thread will likely get more responses and quicker responses.
I am jealous of your lift. I don't have one, but I really want one. It would have been nice to have, especially now that the car is finished.

I was there for 4 deliveries for friends. Every one was a ton of fun and the Stewart driver was fantastic.

The excitement is almost like Christmas. It just keeps getting better. Few other "memories". Putting the F panels on (first sense of accomplishment), then looking at the car with the front suspension on (starting to look like a car). Dropping the engine in (first time I ever did that). The first start and the intoxicating roar of the engine. Haven't gotten to go kart, or gel coat, or completion yet, but the anticipation is real. Enjoy the journey. Typing this almost makes me want to do another (told my wife I wanted to build a coupe next....).
For those looking to buy, Stewart is great. I had some long shifts at work, and was going to miss the drop off point in the evening (arranged for my father to be there to accept it and help get it off the truck). The driver told me, "Well I have to sleep, so how about I come in the morning?" Came at 5:30 AM so I could be there, and still make work by 8.
Now the real fun begins.
