On my last build I used the 235/60/15, they seemed to thin to me. Would a 245/60/15 fit and look meatier ?

I think it depends on the tire your using. Not all 235s (or 245s) actually have the same cross section dimensions.

I have Cooper C@#$%s on Team III 15" wheels. I bought the wheels from Richard Borden, and love them. I went with 295s in back (pushing it, but the Coopers are a smidgen narrower than other manufacturers in cross section) and all is well. On the front though, I went with 235s and I regret not going with 245s, they would have fit easily. Not a big deal really, but the 245s would have fit no problem.

Depending on your source, you might actually find cross-section dimensions listed as specs. Summit, for one, lists that dimension in their listings.

My solution is to beat the tar out of the car, which will wear the fronts down more quickly, meaning I can put the 245s on more quickly as replacements.

Thanks AJ! I was going to get the cooper tires from Summit, using the FFR Team III rims also.
