Has anyone ever mounted a small passenger grab handle to the body like the original AC Cobras (on the edge of the body above the dash by passenger door)? Trying to plan out a passenger handle and curious if this is an option as an alternative to the typical bar in the dash that folks have incorporated.

I put three handles. The bottom of the dash, on the trans tunnel, and door sill. The handles are from Eddie Marine.
The handles come with the blind attachment holes tapped on the back side. I needed to attach from the front side for ease of mounting and removal. I had a friend with a machine shop, drill and bore to accept socket head hex machine screws from the top side.
