If one wanted to make the FFR Carbon Fiber dash a more glossy finish versus the matte finish that it comes as, what would be the best way to do it? Something of course that would apply evenly and last in the elements.

They are not a smooth texture so it would take multiple coats with sanding in between.

Thanks Jeff! As you said, I saw an outfit in GA that uses multiple coats of clear epoxy. Wonder if its UV stable?

This might be an option.

I have a true carbon fiber dash. Took it to a local body shop and they shot it with automotive clear coat. Multiple layers, smooth as glass.

This, then Clear coat.

Block sand multiple "flow" coats. If you burn through to carbon and see black dust (or black residue if wet sanding) immediately stop and re coat. Rinse and repeat until final coat is perfectly flat and no exposed carbon. Wet sands beautifully, fantastic base for clear coat yielding amazing depth.
Best feature is ability to apply multiple coats per day without sanding.

Thanks for the options everyone! Lots to consider. FFR carbon dash or wrap it myself.
I restored a Jeep CJ7 a few years back and covered the dash with a carbon fiber simulated wrap from Ebay. It felt and looked quite good and held up fine, very washable too. My F5 '33 Hot Rod is not getting a CF dash, but going old school engine turned aluminum, like my firewall I did last weekend.
