View Full Version : Pretty sure iac sticking open on sniper

Attached is a video. Went to dial in the iac and the symptoms I’m getting don’t make sense. Long story short idle is set to approx 800 with tape over the iac, and then remove the tape and the iac reads zero on the handheld but air is screaming by.
Thoughts?

Just started doing this? What's the TPS position? I see it go out of CL when you remove your finger. Why use tape to set idle? Lots of questions, but would like to see the tune file.

I was following the instruction on efisystempro.com on how to set up the IAC and that is where the tape came from. set the idle at approximately 50 rpm less desired with the iac unavailable and timing disabled and then when that is complete remove the tape and dial in with any small tweaks as necessary to get the 2-10 percent.
the TPS sensor was reading zero btw.
