Pulling an internal fuel pump?

I need to pull my Holley internal fuel pump. I’m not sure if there is anything special to do or is it as simple as disconnecting the fuel and return from the pump and pulling it out?

Shouldn't be an issue. You'll have to use a brass punch to spin the lock ring before you can pull the pump. You may want to consider having a new gasket ring for the reinstall.

My only caution is pay attention to clearance as you pull it up and out. The float for the tank level sender likes to catch on baffles and you may need to rotate it some left or right and then maybe some wiggle or rotate again before it is free.
