Has any had this problem.
The path way for the e-brake cable is blocked by the bolt attaching the FFR hub bracket.

I took a M12 - 1.75 bolt and ground the head down to provide clearance (I could not fine a button head bolt that size locally).

That worked.

I countersink the hole and buy a flat head bolt.

Mike,
did you have clips on ebrake cable on the brake pad end?

John - I was just struggling with the exact same issue.
I did notice that my caliper installation is towards the rear of the car yet the picture shown in the 2015 IRS 11.65” BRAKES - Rev B instructions shows the caliper at the 12 o'clock position.

I don't think the mounting bracket can be incorrectly installed due to the bolt hole sizes being different.
I can make it work but the curve radius of the brake cable has to be a little snug to avoid the drive shaft.

Steve - We ran into the same confusion about the location of the rear brake hub and caliper. We agree that the bracket dictates the orientation of the system. But that creates a problem with the E-Brake cable pathway. We could not bend it enough to go behind the shock. So we created our own pathway on the front side of the shock. Still working on a method to strap it to keep it clear of the drive shaft and the control arm movement. The tie wraps are temporary, we want to be certain with this pathway. I would prefer the "rear of shock" path, but that is a very tight turn. Did you get a keep clip of the Hub end of the cable? It seems like there should be one there.

No I did not get a clip for the cable.

Not to beat a dead horse, but... the OLD t-bird IRS using Lincoln Mk VIII calipers came over the top. Could you open up the bend in the actuator arm, to hold the sheath end, and build a keeper for the cable end in the bottom hole? The Mk VIII calipers just had a slot that held the end of the cable (I don't have a good picture of the cable-end installed), but a keeper couldn't be TOO hard to put together.

Then it would look more like this:

I had the same idea of reversing the direction of the cable and making a keeper. 185543
Cable routing would be much smoother.
