Hi all,
I have a coyote engine and Mike Forte's Hydro-boost for the brakes.

The pedal is as high as it can go (up against cross member tube) and as you can see in pics, it is the same height as the gas pedal.
I know it needs to be about 1-1/2" higher.

Spoke with Forte, He feels the cross member is too low.
I have a friend with an MK4 so I measured- his cross member is in the same location. He has Coyote but NOT power brakes.

The brake pedal is a Willwood but not from FF. It was changed by Forte to work with the Hydro-boost.

My, Thoughts
-cut the crossmember for clearance.
-create a block or a spacer to raise the pedal pad.
-I looked on Willwoods site for a pedal that might work but they all look the same. I'm in the process of contacting them.

-Any help on this issue would be awesome.
right now I feel i should have gone the big Willwood brake route instead of powr.....lol.

I don't have any experience with Mike's brake setup, but you don't want the pedal hitting the cross member. The pedal needs to go to full rest with no interference or the brakes will not fully release.

Does this setup have an adjustable length pushrod off the pedal like a standard wilwood setup has?

The pedal is set as high as possible. The 1" cross member prevents the pedal from going any further.

I'm a "don't cut the frame" guy and question that advice. That isn't an option any time in my build experience. Agree that brake arm has to stop short of that cross piece. But to be honest, I can't imagine you would want it any higher. You're cutting into your legroom, position of your feet, and overall comfort driving the car. I've installed several power brake setups, including hydroboost, and never had an issue with the stock pedal height. Power assist typically requires less pedal movement than manual. So I'm slightly confused by your issue. Seems to me an adjustment of the pushrod to MC is what's required. A typical part of the setup in my experience. If the brake pedal ends up too low compared to your Coyote accelerator, perhaps it needs to be adjusted lower. Off topic, but I prefer the clutch pedal to be the same height as the brake pedal. So make the necessary adjustments there too. Biggest recommendation I could make is set the seat in the car (if it isn't already) and "test drive" where you have the pedals. That's going to maybe help you decide what to do.

Is lowering the throttle pedal an option?

Seeing the interference with the brake pedal, I see you have no other option to move it up without cutting the crossbar. Because I'm one of the apparent few who already had to cut their crossbar due to FFR's design with hydrail clutches at the time, I lean towards cutting and reinforcing.
