Alright. Time for stupid question of the day. Radiator Overflow tank has two openings on bottom and came with blunt screw in nipple and rod screw in with nipple. Clearly these get screwed into each hole on bottom of tank but which goes to the upper radiator pipe nipple? And what connects to the other? Manual shows me nothing on this.

Thanks. And yes feel free to throw a joking jab in when responding. 185435

fluid coming from your T piece/rad cap will go to the nipple that threads into the the bottom of the cylinder. the other nipple going to the straw is connected to a hose that leads to the ground.
when fluid in your system gets hot and expands, the excess fluid will go from your T piece to the bottom of the cylinder. if the fluid level gets higher than the straw, it gets dumped onto the ground. when the system cools off, fluid from the canister gets sucked back into the system through the same tube connected to the T piece. changing the pressure rating on the cap can help dictate how hot the fluid needs to get before getting released into your overflow canister.

Just a thought. If you have issues with this system needing constant top ups look to a MOROSO type sealed system.

Thanks for the pic- I was confused bit your pic made clear I’m missing a part - I think inwkna. Door prize so they decided to skip half the parts from my kit. Either way, my lower hole won’t get plugged anytime soon.
