OK Folks I have tightened down all the front end suspension components according to the torque specifications. I have lubed all the zero fittings and when I try and move either side of the front suspension, all I get is lifting of the entire frame. The rear IRS does have some flex before the whole Frame lifts. Am I doing something wrong. Here are few shots of the front suspension:

Thanks for the help

The springs are 500 lb/in (IIRC) so without an engine in you're not going to get much suspension travel. Try disconnecting the coilover or backing out the adjusting collar all the way, and the suspension should move.

Looks like you have your springs cranked down extra tight. At the typical 4-4 1/2" ride height you should show around 2 3/4" of the threaded sleeve above the adjustment ring. The upper and lower control arms as well as the tie rods will all be pretty much horizontal and parallel.

Remember too that these cars are tightly sprung and pushing on the front or rear doesn't result in much movement---it's not like when we were kids and would jump on the bumper of Dad's Buick and could make it move half a foot up and down :D

Jeff,

Thanks. I will see if I can get some movement on the collar of the springs in the AM.
