Just wanted to see if there were any other people in Iowa that were building or have built a ffr kit. Looking forward to starting this project. Any advice??

Advice - Gravel roads aren’t your friend if you really care about your paint. I live a mile off one and it’s done some damage.
Depending on the engine you chose, pay attention to engine cooling upgrades. Larger radiator fan, shrouds, engine oil coolers, etc.
My suspension is IRS and loved it in California. Here, 3 link is probably the right choice.
