After reading a ton of threads on driveline angles and struggling with this issue for a few days. It would be great to get some suggestions or reassurance (or rejection) on the driveline angles I’ve ended up with. I’m working with a G3 Coyote, TKX, IRS. My IRS pinion flange angle is 0.8* Up. “Up” being higher in the rear than the front looking from the drivers side. I set the transmission output angle at 0.8* up so the two centerlines are parallel. Unfortunately this tips the front of the engine down and I can’t remove the oil filter because it hits the 4” frame tube. I have the FFR supplied motor mounts that come in the Coyote installation kit with the 1/2” shims installed. Everything is fully seated, and torqued. I also have the short oil filter supplied with my engine.

If I set the transmission at 0.6* up, (0.2* from parallel to the IRS) I can get the oil filter off, but just barely. At 0.6* up. I have a driveshaft angle of 8.3* down. OA1 is 8.9* and OA2 is 9.1. Obviously these angles are far from ideal. Am I okay this this setup or up the creek so to speak.

put an angle finder on the pinion flange and zero it out. Now put it on the front lower pulley and compare. Never heard of anyone not getting the filter off.
For reference, everyone I built with your combo required about 3/4-7/8 spacers under the trans mount.

With the angle finder zeroed on the pinion flange the front lower pulley reads 1.7 degrees in a downward direction. That is with a 3/4" spacer under the transmission.
