A layer of Dynamat for thermo insulation covered by a layer of Dynaliner for sound insulation.

LizardSkin - it is a two part spray on system. One coating of sound insulation and a second coating of ceramic insulation. Takes a while to tape off everything, but the application is pretty quick once the prep work is done.

I used kilmat. Cheap and easy to cut. Make cardboard templates of the footbox pieces before you install and use them to cut the insulation when you’re ready
