After 3+ years, i'd like to graduate my MK4, chassis #9713. I learned way more than I expected, cost more than I had budgeted, but am more proud of the experience and the result than I ever would have believed.

So many to thank along the way. Many on this forum, with special thanks to edwardB, Jeff K, Godadgo, papa, Fman, Mark Reynolds, Russ Thompson (RIP) and of course the amazing staff at Factory Five. Could not have done this without you.

I did not make a build thread (sorry), but want to highlight a few things:

FF MK4 complete kit, IRS, Wilwood brakes, dual roll bars, heater and wipers. Blueprint 347 with Sniper, and PS, oil catch can. TKO and Mustang rear end
Mods include Breeze mirrors, battery box, hoses, cubby, radiator mounts, LED's. Russ Thompson turn signal, drop trunk mod, throttle pedal, custom legends, custom badges, red piping on seats, upgraded carpet
Custom work - dash with zebra wood veneer "pods", custom tunnel cover with zebra wood pods, dual cupholders, heated seats, 1" glove box in front of heater, cubby doors with zebra wood, lathe turned zebra wood shift knob and cubby door handles, headrests (thanks Fman!), LED lighting in footbox and trunk, push button start, foot box blowers
Paint by Whitby Motorcars - Ford sterling gray with custom black flake stripes and red pin stripes. As flawless as I have seen. I have put some protection film on upper doors and rear fender flares. Hope it works.

A few pics below:

Already have 500 miles on her and smiling every day!

Thanks again.

Looks very nice!

I noticed your steering wheel emblem was not fully seated, do you have some sort of horn mechanism or ?

Good catch Craig. The wheel emblem (and side badges) are 3D printed. I put it in for the picture. Need to tighten the bolts and then I’ll seat it properly. Horn button is on the RT stalk.

Congratulations on a beautiful build, you should be very proud! I love the custom touches and the wood accents. They really add a personal touch and show beautifully!

Well done again and enjoy the heck out of her!

What a gorgeous car! Thanks for sharing! It appears you did a lot of the same mods that I'm doing, and more!

Thanks. Obviously I borrowed (stole) many ideas from the forum. But more than glad to share my experiences and suggestions at any time.

Vince, beautiful execution and balance with the zebra wood and carbon. Nice touch on carrying the grain across. Your cubby doors, do those slide or hinged open? It will no doubt get the looks and attention everywhere you drive! Beautiful build! Enjoy the smiles!

The cubby doors slide. I put a Z channel behind the opening. Plan to add a magnet to keep them closed.

I only had one sheet of veneer. So I was very careful to match the grain and cut. Only had one chance!

Gorgeous car. Beautiful interior. But my favorite was the mirror. Made me laugh for 5 minutes.
