Registration/title

Builder of #163 in Georgia is considering selling his project and start another FF model.
He wants to know if it is better to register it and have a title or sell it untitled.

I live in Fl and believe better to have it titled.

input would be appreciated.

I think if he want top dollar, get it titled. Registered shouldn't matter.

If not titled, not sure how one transfers the just the Certificate of Origin?

If I were thinking about buying it I would ask why is it NOT titled.

Isn’t the frame number certificate made out to the buyer by F5? I did not think that was transferable. Maybe it is now. The certificate is usually necessary for a title. I’d make sure you get it if it’s not titled.

If it's not titled, the impact on asking price is far greater than the hassle of filling out the forms.

I wouldn’t title if I didn’t want to pay sales tax right away, not that unusual. Clearly the MSO is needed. I was able to title my SLC with another persons name on the MSO. You guys would really low ball someone just cause it isn’t titled lol tough crowd.
