Does use of a factory rear swaybar improve handling? make the car oversteer? I have a three link rear suspension with koni coil overs and ford lower arms

Hi
I jused the swaybar rear with the 3link - TOO MUCH - OVERKILL
with verry good shock absorbers you can handle it, but I think only good for track
after demounting the ride was much better to drive fast thru the corner, with the back is always working - not stable, I didn`t like

A rear sway bar makes the back of the car stiffer and can cause the car to oversteer. The Mk4 has a very short wheel base. In an Mk4 you want as much grip in the rear as you can get. A front sway bar adds grip to the rear but can cause understeer. I wouldn't run a rear sway bar unless your car has a huge amount of understeer.

Best regards,
