OK, need some advise/help on the Coyote clutch switch that comes with the Coyote ECU pack and the FF Coyote install kit.

In the attached picture below, I added a yellow arrow pointing to the Coyote clutch switch and the FF mounting bracket for the clutch switch. The FF manual shows how to install as I have pictured, but nothing I can see on what engages the Coyote clutch switch.

So, I'm looking for any thoughts or direction on how does it work?

Thx Mark

From the picture, I don’t see the metal bracket that attaches underneath the clutch switch. The bracket rotates with the clutch pedal and pushes in the clutch switch. Should be in the metal parts.

The clutch switch is mounted to the metal bracket FF supplied.... look closely and you'll see the black tabs from the switch poking through the mounting bracket. Or... are you saying there's another metal part I should have. The part I need has to attach to the top of the clutch petal to be able to depress the switch's plunger switch.

Thoughts?

thx Mark

Just an FYI, you can cut the connector off and use the switch you have mounted below on the clutch pedal.

Thanks Mike.... that's what I was thinking as the Ford Coyote switch is open and then closed when the plunger is depressed..... And, the switch below is either, i.e., it has two sets of terminals with one set open and the other set closed and visa versa with plunger is depressed.

thx Mark

I detail this in my build thread. Post #101 and #109 (https://thefactoryfiveforum.com/showthread.php?40632-ATX-MKIV-9644-Coyote-Build-Thread-(Index-Post-1)&p=511967&viewfull=1#post511967).

If you don't have the exact bracket which mounts to the upper clutch pedal clevis, you can use the one that comes with the kit for the clutch quadrant and modify it to mount to the clevis. That's what I did.... Just requires adding 2 holes to the bracket (one for the clevis pivot, one for the screw), then tapping a hole in the clevis for the screw.
