I have read through many posts which have helped immensely with understanding how to wire the Sniper EFI. I have a BPE 347 and am using Autometer gauges. Here are some things I cannot find answers to in other posts.
1. From the 10 pin EFI connector that only has 8 wires attached, I understand I need to connect the light blue wire to one of the green fan wires. What about the brown tachometer wire, is this used? I do not think any others are used, so the rest will be depinned.
2. In the RF wiring bundle, I connect the orange EFI wire to the coil (+) and use the yellow wire from the Sniper 7 pin connector to the coil (-). Where do I connect the other wires from this RF bundle? Dark Green EFI speedo signal, Gray EFI speedo return, Lt Blue crank power, & Purple coil->tach. Are these used?
3. BPE included this odd two pin connector connected to one purple wire. What is this for?

Sorry if some of these are obvious or I missed them in other posts.
Thanks

Here's how I wired a buddy's Sniper with a Dual Sync distributor and CD box (timing controlled). Usually the Purple single wire plug is the Tach Output from a CD box and no timing control. Download the Sniper manual from Holley and it'll explain options.

I am not using the Sniper for timing control, so the purple and green spiral plug is not used. It appears the purple wire attached to the two-pin plug connects to this purple and green spiral plug, so I assume it is not needed for my setup.
Do I connect the brown tach wire from the EFI 10 pin connector to the Purple coil->tach wire from the RF harness?

Small(ish) world - I’m in DFW and tackling the same thing today. BPE 347/TKX with Sniper as well

Reach out to BPE Tech Support tomorrow and ask them to email you their Factory Five Pre-Install FAQ. It details all the sniper wiring and some other tips I would have never thought about unique to their crate setup.

If you're just using a stock style (Ready-to-Run) type of distributor, you can use either of the diagrams in this pic, depending on the type of distributor you plan to run. The purple wire connection would be if you use a CD box.

Just got off the phone with BPE and they recommend to attach the tach wire from the RF harness to the grey 1/4 male spade connector coming from the distributor (as mladen recommended in his build thread).
