My wife runs a small (like really small, like her with me and our 10 year old helping occasionally small) business, and there are two quick ways to get on her **** list:


Contact for the same purpose across all platforms (email, voicemail, text, Facebook message, etc.) all within minutes. The irony when she is trying to keep up with communications but has to filter through and be bogged down by 5x the volume because someone felt the need to take the shotgun approach. I'm talking initial contact, not like they'd been trying on X platform for a week with no response. Like all within 10 minutes of each other, usually at like 11pm on a Sunday night...

General entitlement to a person's time. Yes she is running a business (and is constantly applauded and thanked for her communication and how much time she puts into every customer and every transaction) but some people, holy crap! They just take and take and take and expect more and more!

Not meant to be a dig at the OP (OK, maybe a little), and I don't know Jeff at all. What I do know is that I see him everywhere, constantly though. Helping everyone, here and on Facebook and who knows where else. I have so many notes taken down from his advice over the years, the forums are full of him basically giving away all his trade secrets in the interest of the community! I honestly clicked on it thinking given the title that maybe something had happened to Jeff, and I was concerned! Luckily though it was just another impatient human...

No real point to this post, I guess it just touched a nerve and now I'm making noise for my own entertainment as one does on a Saturday evening!

My feelings aren't hurt, but just want to give some context here. I understand what it is like to get inbound around the clock.

I sent Kleiner a PM and was not expecting a response in 5".

For some reason (probably operator error ) I'm not getting PM notifications and don't check them regularly. I'll take a look tonight or over the weekend when I'm back in the house and can respond using a real keyboard rather than the tiny phone screen.
