First off, I totally get it. Kicking a dead horse and whatnot, we've all heard the complaints.
Here's an alternative suggestion: Create a Sticky about it. One thread for all the complaints.
Maybe if these threads wouldn't get locked so fast people would see they're a worthless business instead of hiding the bad press by locking every thread that shows up about it.
Just a suggestion, nothing more. Y'all have a good day.

There is another vendor that deserves the same treatment.
NO. I will not name them

The problem isn't that the threads are locked too quickly, the problem is that people don't search or keep up to date. Much easier to just post the question.... same thing happens over and over on the facebook groups...

Apparently there’s no such thing as bad publicity. The more we talk about it the more free advertising they get. If people don’t do their own research/homework…

Alternatively,
Not only close, but delete the threads and give the originator a one week time out.

Censorship & punishment for someone that dares to say a specific, paying for advertising space, vendor is not living up to its responsibilities to its customers? Long tern dead horse beatings make sense in long term vendor screwups. Its nice to know they are still screwed up before you give them your Credit/Debit card number not after.
BTW you can't do research on a vendor if the complaints are all deleted or stale by a year.

There seems to be an assumption here that people research a company and their customer service before making a purchase. Rarely is that the case in practice. Unless a low number of stars jumps out at me from a Google Reviews section, I don't know the difference. Maybe the people in this thread do that, but most people don't. Case in point, how many negative threads have been created about it???
In this case, it's bad publicity applied correctly to spread the word they suck.

But no ********** threads is a rule and rules should be enforced. It is a rule...isn't it??
Oh wait. Was I maybe being just a bit sarcastic?

While its easy to convey sarcasm in the spoken word it generally takes a skilled writer to make it work when its written.
