Hello fellow builders. Build 10314 is going very well and am onto the wiring aspect of the build.
Question: The water temp, fuel level connectors are off one wire from the wire harness connectors. Example: fuel level gauge wires are in a 3 slot connector in slots 1 and 3. The wire harness wires are in slots 2 and 3 on the connector. Has anyone encountered this and what did they do? Cut the wires and wire according to the schematic drawing? Help please. Photo's attached.

I am a newb, so may be corrected, but it seems as though you have the vintage speedhut gauges (as do I). The sender wiring that comes with the kit goes into the back of the respective gauge for what you are measuring, not the RF harness.
Assuming I am correct, you should know that others have reported RF male/females having incorrect alignment as you have noted and would suggest eyeballing when you do make those connections as you go.

Same issue as Ernie: The wires from FFR and Speedhut did not align in the connectors for the water temp, oil pressure, and fuel level sender. Be sure to check if some of your gauges work, but others don't.

always good to check them, simple enough to pop them out and line them up :)

I had the same issue on a few of my connectors too (Speedhut Vintage) did the change as toadster says above - easy to pop them out and make the change.

I just crossed this bridge myself. Use the wiring harness that came with the gauges between gauge and sensor. Omit the wiring in the harness. I'm going to completely remove it, just to clean up the harness a bit.
