Hatch latch replacement

Hi all,
I know there is a thread about a sturdier hatch latch but I stumbled on something that looks like the exact actual latch.

I think what you found is the exact hatch latch that Factory Five supplies in the Type 65 kit. So, NOT sturdier.

Agreed, it’s a replacement.
What I mean is that IF someone is looking for an exact replacement this is it.
BUT I know there is a thread where a sturdier solution is proposed.

Yes, Correct a replacement.
Southco also has a mat black plastic version that would stealthily blend into the hatch glass's black border.
